Scaffold Inspection Course. Are you responsible for managing or supervising a site where scaffolding is used? Are you confident that the site scaffolding is safe and subject to detailed weekly checks as required by law?

To assist in ensuring you manage and inspect your site scaffolding in line with legal requirements, OSS Ltd are running a scaffold inspection course on Monday 20th of May 2024 in Limerick. The course is aimed at those who are responsible for scaffolding, either in a management or supervisory role.  This can include site agents, site managers, site foremen, safety managers or other contractors.

Our scaffold inspection course will be delivered by industry scaffolding expert Richard O’Mahony on behalf of OSS Ltd. The training will bring the theory of the Health and Safety Authority’s Scaffolding Code of Practice to life using practical examples of the various methods of scaffold erection, modification, and dismantling.

The training provides an overview of the variety of scaffolding components, fault finding, the compliance documents (i.e. scaffolding brief, GA3 forms, handover certs) and the inspection itself.  Scaffolding on site needs to be inspected regularly (on erection / weekly following change) and this training enables responsible persons to carry out these weekly inspections in a safe and thorough manner by providing attendees with the legislative and practical knowledge required to complete the task.
